What do the columns mean in the Infinity log exports?

This article includes some frequently asked questions and answers around the terms used in our exported logs

When extracting a CSV from the Call Log there are columns called ‘Visitor Type’ and ‘Outcome Type’. What are the different options which will appear in these columns, and what do they mean?

Visitor Type means the type of visitor, in Infinity terms.

  • N = Normal, online visitor
  • I = Internal visitor
  • S = Spider - robot from Google, checking content
  • Blank = the call was to a fixed/static number, rather than a dynamic website one

Outcome Type relates to the call outcome, in goal terms.

  • N = Normal or non-converting goal
  • C = Converting goal
  • V = Void goal, due to a de-duplication rule being triggered

As ratings are separate properties from the calls, rating goals may be excluded from this column.

Source Mode indicates what the detected property of the number was at the time of the call

  • seo = A dynamic number was dialled. This indicates a website call from an Organic land
  • direct = A dynamic number was dialled. This indicates a website call from a Direct visit e.g. someone that has typed the website URL into their browser or has bookmarked your website
  • ppc = A dynamic number was dialled. This indicates a website call from an Paid Search land
  • tag = A dynamic number was dialled. This indicates a website call from a Custom channel. The land was detected from the use of Basic or UTM tags
  • vref = A dynamic number was dialled. This indicates a website call from a Custom channel. The land was detected from the addition of referring websites to the channel configuration
  • fixed = A fixed/static number was dialled. This was likely a call from an offline campain, e.g. a brochure number
